From that one could extrapolate that a Boxster S on that course might be the fastest

Cool, thanks for the link.
I've been watching TFLC videos for a few years, so it was fun to see that they started a special "Porsche Series" this year.

And that's just the 2.5 makes you wonder if the S would've beat alllll the 911s.
That being said, I wonder how a 944 turbo would stack up too.

I'm guessing some of the track guys on the forum would've taken first place.

I think they were only suppose to do a few Porsche episodes but the host got bit by the Porsche bug and also he and Adam Jaspers make a good onscreen team. Adam's a fan of the boxster and he races them in spec and WRL. He's a pretty good driver and I'm surprised he wasn't behind the wheel in that video.

Episode 4 had them running the white S (seen in the background) around the track. It actually did worse than the base, but it looked like his first time around the track, and they did show that the front tires were shot.

Standing single laps and timed with a phone is just about the worst way to get real results.
WhyTF is he stopping and reversing back to the start, and taking 45sec when the whole lap only takes a minute? Just go around again.
