Battery Tender Quick External Plug

I'm thinking of installing a plug somewhere in the front bumper area or wheel well, not visible but accessible so I can just plug the battery tender in a quick plug something like a mono audio plug, something like what my guitar has, anyone done something like that?

I want to rig a wireless iPhone charging cover up to a big pad so the car charges when I drive into the garage wirelessly.

The lighter adapter is pretty easy to use.

+1 on the lighter adapter.
I have been using one for over a year.

I also use the lighter plug. I was able to hard wire plugs on my wife's Mini and the BMW, but I couldn't figure out how to do it on the Boxster with the placement of the battery in the front trunk. The lighter plug is not as clean of an install I would prefer as you have to shut the door on the cord. But I've been doing this for ten years now without issue.
