Project car

Being a Boxster and a 1966 912 owner, I am always on the prowl for another project. Saw this 912 listed:

Porsche 912 | eBay

I can only hope the seller did this as a joke.

It's a trend starting... You are buying this pile for the VIN tag and the ownership.
Any salvageable parts considered a bonus, although the seller claims it has a numbers matching driveline.
You know what they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

Hahah unfortunately that is no joke, those guys @ Beverly Hills Car Club - Which is no where near Beverly Hills if I recall correctly, are complete sheisters.

I wouldn't do business with those ****************bags. Ever.

If by chance you think I'm exaggerating take a look at this thread from the Early S Registry where they took a BADLY wrecked 67S and cobbled it back together and sold it on their site. ************************ clownshoes...

George Gates wrecked 67S at Beverly Hills Car Club

I don't know. A couple of bucks and it could be a good work car.

I have personally been to BHCC many times and it is no where near Beverly Hills - its in an industrial area in East LA.

I have never bought a car there but I have looked at cars there many times and I have inspected a handful of cars there for remote buyers who wanted someone to go and actually look at a car in person. Two of those people ended up actually buying the car that I inspected and were quite happy with their purchase.

Again, this is simply my personal experience with BHCC and its generally been good. Of course, your mileage may vary.

Well, at least we know that there was no IMS failure

I'm not really sure you can legally call that a "car" anymore.
