Clutch engage point

On my 2001 986 the clutch engages pretty much all the way at the end of the pedal is there any way to make it engage earlier? This is a brand new clutch.

I installed my own clutch. It used to engage about 1/3 from the floor. Now it's 3/4 to the top. Only difference is the pivot stud. Don't know why but the clutch master kit came with a shorter pivot stud. I figured it was an updated version. However, it changes the engagement point to the top of the movement. That's the only way to really change that. I'll be changing it back soon.

My clutch was new 11000 mile ago and has always been like that - figured it's how they are meant to be.
