Removing caliper decals without damaging paint

The 'PORSCHE' decals on my calipers have started to fade, and I'd like to remove them completely to apply some fresh new ones, as there's very little chance that ebay ones would be exactly the same size as the old ones.

How would I go about removing the decals but without damaging the red paint on the calipers?

Cheers!

I did mine last year... I basically had to take the clear coat off and then remove the decal, apply the new decal and spray on many layers of clear coat and they looked brand new again. Make sure your just not seeing the clear coat chip off... most people think its the decal but its just the clear coat. If that's the case just remove the clear coat and spray on new and they will look brand new again. Try using a high pressure steam - it worked well for me.
