I knew when I got the car that I would have to come up with some way to remember which button on the fob is for the front and which one for the back. For this I use the number of letters: With the key pointing toward me, Left is Rear; Right is Front. (Frunk works too)
For the flashing parking lights to indicate locked or unlocked, I use a rhyme: One is Un. One flash means Unlocked.
With the key, you naturally say 'left and right', the same way you say 'front and back'. So when pointing the key to the car to work the remote, left is front, and right is back. Simple
