Muffler 97-02 same?

Other than single tip vs 2 tip on S model, are all the mufflers the same between 2.5,2.7,3.2?

The mounting brackets are different. 97-99 and 2000-04 are different. I've never cut one open to see if there's any difference internally though.

So are the brackets the same for both the base and the S for2000-2004?
