Windows dont drop when putting roof back up

Hi all, hoping someone would have had this issue. When I first got the car, this was not an issue. As I was raising the roof, the windows would drop but recently it has stopped doing this which if I forget to lower the windows, the roof doesn't lock in. May there be an issue with the roof lock? The windows still raise though when the lock is used once the roof is up.

Hope this makes some sort of sense to someone!

You're in the right area. There's a sensor near the latch mechanism that tells the car when to lower the windows when operating the top. Most likely it's gone bad. Not 100% sure, but my car has the same issue and that what I plan to replace. In the meantime, I just lower the windows before putting the top up or down using the center console switches.

Cheers Thom! Will do a bit more digging and find out why.
