Clean 986 Boxster turns up next door....

.... To my friend's house across the lake.
I went over for a visit, and this tasty looking red 986 is sitting in the next driveway.

I asked when his neighbors got a Boxster, and he said "is it actually out?"
According to him, she has had it for awhile but it has been sitting in the garage for 4 years because she's afraid to drive it and doesn't know anything about Porsche maintenance. He mentioned she was talking about selling it.
Supposed to have very low miles. My friend is going to ask about it. hey, maybe she'll want to sell it cheap?? ;)

This is going to be interesting.

If she knows nothing about Porsche, she ain't gonna sale it cheap.
People who don't know Porsche, still thinks they worth a fortune :D

By looks, you two are certainly open (your trunk & her frunk lid appear ajar) to each other

;)

Ah, I popped my trunk as I got out of the car to get a folder out, and I'm guessing she at least knows about leaving your frunk unlatched while storing the car in case of a dead battery. ;)

Then she knows more about this car than 99.999999999% of other owners......

Is she good looking? Might be a great opportunity to teach her about maintenance or offer to take care of her. ;)

LOL! Can't argue with that. Members of this forum notwithstanding of course. ;)

I can only hope, but that's not usually my luck. :D

Man, Okla. is crawling with Porsches, it seems. Either that, or you're a Porschehund with a really refined nose for them.

Retroman1969 02-04-2016 03:47 AM

LOL...! There do seem to be a lot of them around, new and old. ;)
There are 5 Porsches living on my neighborhood block alone. (7 if you count my 986s) :)

Lots of Porsches moving into my neighborhood these days too... of course, mine is the cheapest and oldest of the bunch.

mikesz 02-05-2016 06:30 AM

I need to move!
