Becker cr 22
 

Can anyone throw some light on my non working radio. I have a 1997 986 and the original radio ( becker cr22) does not work. I have changed the 10a fuse in the back and the red led light flashes ok but there is no display.The becker is connected to a cd changer. I have put an after market radio in which is not connected to the cd changer but works fine so all the connections to that are OK. Could it be just a dead display, the connection through the cd changer or am I missing something else

Hook it up to a 12V source... battery, speakers.

Display Y/N?

Even if no display, will it play, etc. ?

Surely I would need to put in a code but without a display I cannot see to put it in
