patssle Registered User Join Date: Jan 2013 Location: Houston Posts: 370	Transmission noise (with video file) My 2000 S has a noise coming from the transmission in idle - sounds like a rattle noise. It's random and doesn't happen all the time. When I push in the clutch it goes away. I put a wood stick on the rear of the transmission case and listen through it and it sure sounds like the transmission is the source. Here is a video where I also put the camera on the stick to adsorb the vibration noise. Any thoughts?
