What Porsche wheels are these?

I've just bought these from a friend over on Boxa.net and they're fantastic, but I'm not sure if they're from a 987 Boxster or a Cayman?

Those are certainly not Porsche wheels mate, unless Porsche have hidden them until only recently. I say aftermarket. Could be wrong of course.

Cool looking wheels nonetheless.

Is it just me, my eyes, or the lense/pic/perspective makes them look as if they were taken off a very (very) big Porsche car? :D

I've seen them on quite a few Boxsters and Caymans but couldn't figure out which one they actually came from!

Bmw

They remind me of the BMW "Lobster Claws"

The model seems to be more recurrent on the 987 when you Google Image search "Boxster 987" which leads to believe that they are Boxster's factory wheels.

Then who knows, might be one of those 'option' offered by Porsche at the time. For instance I think there are more Boxster 986 with Carrera 18 wheels than there are Carrera cars out there.

Not that it matters mate, they are nice, you like them and they work! All what matters really ;)

Congrats

Ah there we are, it was the wheel offered on the 987 Boxster S. Fitting, seeing as mine is a 986 Boxster S :)

Thanks people!

Just as a matter of interest only, the styling of these is very similar to the 16-in wheels for 986 Boxster base.

standard boxster 987 wheel, my parents have it on their 2006 boxster

They came on my Cayman S as well in silver.

I think you'll find the Cayman wheels are very similar, however the hole in the spokes of the wheel are at the inner part of the wheel.
Where as the Boxster oem 987 wheels the hole in the spokes is on the end/outer edge of the spokes, and you'll find the Cayman spokes are a bit thinner than the Boxster spokes.
I know this as I have the two sets of wheels mentioned in this thread, will post photos when the net is up properly.
