How many of you are PCA members?

I checked their site, hoping to find some DE events nearby (Pacific Northwest) but there don't appear to be any scheduled for my neighborhood this year.

Do you have contact info for your local branch? The national website is only half the story.

Ah. I just found the regional page. Not a lot of details yet, but there is this:

Zone 6 High Performance Drivers Education - New Event

June 18, 2016 - June 19, 2016

This will be a first for Zone 6 – a new High Performance Drivers Education using the Oregon Raceway Park (ORP). Dates are June 18 and 19.

Lots of details will be coming. We will be using Hooked On Driving as our host.

Black Rock 2016 - Vancouver Island Region Porsche Club of America

we do a driver ed at our black rock event, we get people coming up from all over down south. It is a great weekend if you need a little vacation

I'm in San Diego and our region has tons of events
You are certainly more than welcome to join us at any event

Events are region specific. Some regions have built a following for hosting DE's, TT, and even racing. Others regions host concours, rallies, etc.

The easy way to find a PCA DE event is to identify a few local tracks and then see if any PCA regions host events there.

Also, contact the Zone rep. They will know just about everything going on and can usually point you in the right direction. Plus, they are amazing nice people and will usually actually welcome your call or email.

The PNW chapter has the most traffic on Facebook but you have to get approval to join (they verify your PCA number plus what ever time it takes for them to get to it).

On their web page is a calendar which should show driver clinics, auto cross, etc.

I've only gone to one club event, about a year ago at Griot's garage in Tacoma. Nice people in the club but I guess I'm not that damn social.

Not many track days this time of year but they did just do a long group drive

most of the info is on the website, We usually have 7 driver instructors on hand. We take over part of the runway at the Tofino Airport ( if you use google earth and zoom in on the Tofino airport on Vancouver Island you can see the driving line we use.

registration opens on January 30th at 9:00am PT last year we sold out in 14 minutes .... We usually work our way through the wait list though
