I've had my eye on that one. That one will be hard to part out if it comes to that, but it looks like it got flooded pretty bad. You can tell by the leather interior and headlights. I'm guessing the insurance co. spent some $$ to get it cleaned up or the water that flooded it wasn't real muddy.

And I want the all red taillights.

Update: This SE finally went up for auction this past week and the winning bid was $3600. To me that's way too much for a car that was majorly flooded. The interior is shot, and probably the motor, transmission and anything electrical. The insurance company denied the bid and now has it for the "buy it now" price of $7500! I so wish I could get whoever is making that decision on the phone. I would so make that guy feel like the biggest dip**************** on earth.

How do you know it was in a flood by looking at the headlights?

Headlights are a big clue but the leather on the door, dash and seats also point to major flood damage. Insurance companies will clean up flood damage sometimes to get a higher price at auction. I was surprised to see LA dismantlers bidding on it.

I just bought a pair of sport seats from them - I figured they were buying insurance lots.

Many years ago a hurricane came through and flooded a new car dealer's lot with over 20 feet of water. I drove by the day the flood water receded. The dealer had the flooded cars in their shop. They had pressure washers running in an all out effort to clean those cas as much as possible.
