WD-40 will work and will flash off without hurting the paint. Personally, I prefer PrepSol and have not found it to adversely affect the finish...

OK, Jim, I may have you beat! I have not met Mr. Zaino, but I have met Ben Cohen from Ben & Jerry's! During a meeting with him, he actually presented a bar graph made out of Oreo cookies! One of his all-time favorite foods!!
