'97 with 52k for $19k - buy or stay away

I have an opportunity to purchase a well maintained '97 with 52000 miles for about $19k. Car looks great, runs great, everything works. Question is - as a first year car with fairly high miles (for a Porsche weekender), is this a good purchase or should I just turn around and run. Car is a 5sp, winter package, TC.
thanks

It sounds like a good deal. It kind of blows me away that Boxsters have now hit the sub-20K bracket. Unless you want a 2.7 or an S I'd say go for it.

I agree... Although, it is a 2.5L... It probably is a good deal for the price... It will be a blast to drive!

What's wrong with 52K for a 97, I have 50 K on a 01S and its not even my daily driver. When you factor cost of car, insurance, tax, maintenance, registrations, etc, one of the most expensive things you can do is let it sit. DRIVE IT-HAVE FUN

I think you could find a newer one with that mileage for about the same price. Like a '99. I'd shop around and see what else is out there in that price range.
