curious to know how many people
have put 3.4 engines in their boxsters
did you notice a big change in performance
and costs

Big change........total cost not including my time....about $9,000.
I also installed a six speed trans. included in the above number.

$9000 for labor, or $9000 including the engine and parts? That sounds way too low for a complete job, but if it is the total, I would like to know who did it and what kind of warranty it has. I may have to drive over to SC for a couple of weeks.

His post suggests 9000 was for motor and a 6 speed trans. He states he did it himself.
