Can't help but wonder if in another 50 years it'll be possible (or legal) to run a fossil fueled vehicle.

Have never seen a die cast model of this car.Maybe with the current publicity, one of the model mfg. will get busy!

$1.76M?

Clearly, some people are still using massive amounts of drugs...

That thing is uglier than an inbred red-headed step child.

(chuckle) Queue the sitar music and pass the bon... "lamp".

Daggum though... I'd love to own a nice 356 someday. My chance, I fear, passed a couple decades ago. Almost as far back, I was afforded the chance to drive an early 70's VW bus for about a month. Slower than a turd on a cold day, it was still a magical experience. That big, almost horizontal steering wheel... the yardstick tall shift lever with yardstick long throws (holy rev-matching, Batman). A greenhouse view. I learned there and then that enjoyable driving didn't necessitate your hair being on fire. Now they get big bucks, too.

Ah well... be thankful for whatcha got.

It was in the Porsche Exhibit at the NC Museum of Art . I thought there was a mention that it didn't run.
