A Definitive ROW M030 Suspension Parts Chart
1 Attachment(s)
I've always had trouble finding the correct PN or compatability info on M030 suspension parts, and there are countless posts asking these questions. It actually is a bit confusing so I 'm working on a complete table of all the ROW M030 parts and compatibility information.
ALL information in the table is drawn directly from the Porsche Tequipment catalog. No words or PNs were changed, just organized. Some PNs have been super-seeded (in parenthesis) What do you guys think, is this correct? Does it make sense? |
Thank-you for taking the time to put this together.

So this is for the Euro spec M030 kit, right? Do you know the differences between it and the US spec kit, which does not lower the ride height?

Anyone know the part numbers for USA M030 . not ROW
is the only difference the springs? I want the "sport" suspension, but do not want to lower the car |
The ROW standard suspension is lower than the US standard suspension.
The ROW M030 suspension is 10 mm lower than the ROW standard suspension. But there are also differences in model years because of the rims used. This is my car with 18" Carrera wheels (225/265) and a ROW standard suspension - not M030. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1453761573.jpg Regards from Germany Markus |

I would assume that the difference is the spring height? |
Hi JayG,
no, there are a lot more differences. Part numbers and parts are completely different - not only springs. Think the easiest way is if you compare yourself. Check main group 4 - front axle and Mein Group 5 - rear axle. 986 USA parts catalogue (in english): http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts/usa/986_USA_KATALOG.pdf 986 ROW parts catalogue (in german): http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts/de/D_986_KATALOG.pdf Sorry, i don't have a source for a ROW catalog in english. But chapters and structure are the same. Regards Markus |

I downloaded the PET a while back, but thanks for posting the link, it may be helpful to others. I went through it and it lists multiple part numbers for the same thing. The model designators are M08/030/249 for an 04S (M08) with a 6 speed(249). I also checedk the part numbers on a few online parts dealers and they had different part numbers as well. I think I will go to my local dealer, give them my vin and get the correct part numbers |
