Bought a 2001 boxster s and the radio booklet didn't come with the car.does anyone know a place I can find out about the radio.

Press the Sound button. You'll see options for bass, treble and fade. Use the Sound button to access these adjustments, and the right knob (tuning) to make the adjustments. Or just keep the radio off and listen to the symphony behind your ears!

Jimbo you have no owners manual? If that is the case I can scan in the pages from mine relating to the radio and send them to you.

How about Googling "Boxster (radio model #) Owners Manual"?

PM me and I can send you a link for an owners manual,. Its from a 03 or 04, but 99% will be the same on an 01

Then there will be no excuse for not reading the F'in manual first LOL

Keep in mind that if you don't have rear speakers installed, the front to rear adjustment is useless.

Does anyone know how to adjust the light output/dimness of the unit? I think the backlighting is too dim.

IIRC, the illumination is controlled by the dash illumination control. No seperate control in the radio "
