HELP with broken pipe

hi guys, so i was in the process of re attaching my oil filler pipe (the section that attaches to the engine block), after I had to disconnect it to access a vacuum tube under the pressure canister. As I was trying to maneuver the pipe onto the engine and being as careful as possible with all of the hoses, etc. the hard black pipe that runs underneath the oil filler tube from either side of the engine, snapped in half!!! It's always something!!! It looks like this pipe connects up under the intake tracts on both sides. so what exactly is this pipe, and what am i in for as far as replacement!! thanks again guys!

Look on the PET diagrams on the Porsche web site to identify your part.
