The Lost Videos

I went thru some of my videos from 2014 Laguna Seca and 2015 COTA. I have numerous videos already posted but thought these were interesting for various reasons and posted them recently.

This one is the last session of Day 2 from Laguna Seca. I was in a combined group that had some very talented drivers along with some high powered cars. I spent the first several laps letting the hot dogs by. However, once I had some clear space I was doing some good lapping. Especially compared to my sessions from the day before. I say this is the last session, actually it was #7 of a planned 8 but the last session was cancelled due to an accident in a different run group. The guys in this session were really trying to get their last hot laps in before the weekend completed. Kept me on my toes watching my mirrors. Had a couple of cars that passed w/o me pointing them by, which was supposed to be a no-no but there was no sanctions against them.

This is the last session on Day 1 from COTA. What makes this one interesting is the fact that it was the only session I had to run on a wet track. The fun part was it didn't start raining hard until I was braking for the corner after the fastest straight - not a good place to encounter a shower. Very exciting but the track didn't get slick, just as the instructors said. Also had a situation where I had the opportunity to go 3 wide down the front straight. We fit, no problem, no traded paint. Once the session ended and my brother and I packed up and left the track, it poured down rain. Glad we weren't in the next session after this one. Thankfully the rest of the weekend wasn't wet for our sessions.

The final video is a bit different as it's from my brother's '88 black 944 Turbo's bumper cam (you see his car in some of my other videos). Gives a bit of a different persective to the session than my usual GoPro location. It was fun for me to watch my car, so I figured others would like it too.
