987 base rear sway bar = 986 base M030 rear sway bar?

So I was poking around and found a couple things...

1) Many aftermarket rear sways fit both the 986 and 987.

2) Both the 986 base M030 and 987 base rear sway bars are 19.8mm.

So...interchangeable? The 987 bars can be had on eBay for ~30 bucks.

The biggest outstanding questions I see are if the wall is the same on them, and if it would truly fit. Anybody know?

I believe the fittment is different but have never laid them next to each other for comparison. Would be great if it bolted in.
