Drive it as the good doctor intended.. How much is that?

I have heard on a number of occasions that these engines really like to be driven hard, and that tootling around town at low revs makes them sad. So, how much hard driving is recommended? A few minutes every day? An hour every Saturday? What would make my Boxster happy?

Keep the revs up; 2500-3000 minimally, and occasionally up to 6000 every time you drive. Makes Boxster happy and puts a grin on the driver's face.

I bring it up to temperature and then spirited thereafter. I take care not to be reckless or careless about others on the road, but do exercise the engine each outing.
