HELP diagnosing oil leak

Hey guys, I need help diagnosing this oil leak.there is a small pool of oil on top of the engine I've attached a photo and let me know what u think. It looks to me as if it will be the oil filler tube, also the underside of that tube is pretty dingy!! Also there will be a little drop here and there on the garage floor, nothing major to my eyes. Hopefully it's just the filler tube?!

Well I'm having trouble uploading my photo

Thanks

Yes that sounds likely.

The upper section is a blow molded piece of plastic and has a seam running along the low spot. Splits are common. The lower piece which attaches to the top of your engine with two fasteners is, IIRC, injection molded plastic. Better construction, thicker walls.

It can also just be the joint between the two tubes. You have to get it just right when you're wiggling the engine back up in the cavity
