Redline on the tip

One nice thing about a tiptronic on the track is that it will never over- rev. The downside,of course, is that the sticks will have an edge on the straights.
On the track, I don't really have the leasure to check my speed very often but I generally know where the tach is at. Does anyone know what the speed is in say 3rd gear at redline in a 986S tip? Just curious. :o

I believe 90-95. But I could be wrong.

look in your manual. There are charts in the back

I have the Multimedia owners manual, as well as a bunch of other generally useless pamphlets and start-up guides. The CD in this version of the manual has SFA useful information. Guess I'll just have to find some lonesome stretch on the highway...
