918 wheelset deal!

Suncoast Porsche Parts & Accessories Magnesium Wheel & Tire Package - Black

woo-hoo, save $10,000 on a wheelset!

What, they aren't making carbon fiber wheels for the 918 yet ?

Porsche9 10-29-2015 02:52 PM

Suncoast had a sale before on 918 wheels and someone had a thread going about it.

With the new Mustang GT350R having carbon fiber wheels I'm curious as to what those will cost to buy separately. For the cost of these wheels you can buy alot car! Even 1 percenter will choke. It takes 1% of the 1% money to not flinch. Crazy.

It does say they are mounted and balanced.

Imagine some stupid rich kid "curbing" those

JayG 10-29-2015 05:17 PM

WOW, the $56,500 set reduces the overall vehicle weight by 32.5 lbs
What a deal!!!!

Jager 10-29-2015 05:25 PM

Those are relatively cheap compared to these:

THOSE seem like a REALLY bad idea...on oh-so-many levels!

What size spacers do I need to mount these to my 97 tip project boxster. Need something to put on order while I install my butterfly door mod.

thstone 10-29-2015 08:13 PM

Damn. They only come in black.

Do you think it would be ok to Plasti Dip them to silver?

tomonomics 10-30-2015 04:13 AM

Center locks and Center caps not included....really? Those are an additional $630 and $200, respectively.

Then again, if you go with percentages, $56k on a million dollar car is no different than spending $1,000 on wheels for an $18,000 used boxster.

Glad I was not the only one looking for a deal on those!
