Tram-lining

In the last week or so I've noticed some pretty severe tramlining ( wheels following or weaving over ruts in the pavement) when driving on the streets and some highways around montreal. The roads here do get pretty wonky with the cold weather upon us, as well as I have mismatched tires (Contis on the front and Sumitomos on the rear). This setup caused me no problem on the track or on smooth (level) pavement. I have another pair of Sumis on order to match up the set but I was just wondering if others have noticed this. I really have only noticed this quite recently.
