Boxster 18" chromed twist...

Good afternoon all,

A local Boxster enthusiast was kind enough to give me three chromed 18" twist wheels. I ordered the fourth (front wheel) from eBay and when it arrived it was much "shinier" than the three I already have. My plan is to buff out the other three to see if I can bring some life back into them and try to match the eBay wheel.

I know chrome wheels aren't too popular. I actually like them and curious to see how the 18" compare to my 17"'s.

Questions:

- any recommendation on buffing? chrome polish brand? (I have access to an orbital buffer)

- Any good leads on replacement center pieces?

Any input is greatly appreciated, have a great rest of the weekend!

Don't know anything about chrome polishing but love your stable.

Nice stable. Talk to your Harley buds about chrome care, they'll point you in the right direction. Ask about Simichrome.

I think they look pretty decent on an Arctic Silver car. Here's mine:

Give this a shot. Used it to polish my friend intake manifold and it worked wonders.

Thank you once again for the compliments, tips on buffing and photos of Boxster's with chrome wheels. This is nuts, where else can you get feedback like this so quickly. As I tear into my Boxster and gain experience hopefully I can become a contributor to this awesome forum.

Have a great weekend fellas!
