Boxster S OEM Wheels
Greetings,
Do these wheels have a specific name and/or part number? I'd like to find a set for my '98, provided they will fit. Thanks!http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1444926475.jpg |
Those are 987 wheels, not same offsets as 986 specification.

Lobster fork? Thought that's what those are called.

or lobster claw.

Boxster 987
Front wheel: 18x8" ET57 Part number: 98736213600 Rear wheel: 18x9" ET43 Part number: 98736213800 Someone else should be able to weigh in on 986 fitment... |
The official name for those wheels is Boxster S II. As TStone pointed out, they're a 987 18" wheel.
http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1445090231.jpg The more popular 18" wheel on a 987 was the Cayman S wheel. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1445090318.jpg Either of these wheels should work on a 986. There have been various threads here talking about fitting them on 986s. Here are lobster claws. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1445090414.jpg And Jay wanted to throw me out because I own 987s. Where would you get your 987 content w/o me? :D |
