Option7 Registered User Join Date: Aug 2015 Location: Costa Mesa, CA Posts: 3	Engine making rough noise like bearings, bushings or belt? I have a 2000 Boxster with the 2.7L and it sounds like there is noise at idle which sounds a lot like bearings. The car has 40,000 miles on it, has been maintained well and is always in the garage with a trickle charger on it. I recorded the sound from the driver's side rear tire area so if I can figure out how to attach the sound file to this post hopefully someone will be able to steer me in the right direction.
