Who's going the Porsche Rennsprt V?

I'll be out there Friday. Can't wait to take in the smell of burnt race gas and to fill my ears with the glorious sounds of Porsche racing history.

Rennsport reunion is happening at Laguna Seca this month. Is that what you're talking about?

I will be out there Friday through Sunday (9/25 to 9/27)..... one week from today! I was there last time in 2011 and had a great time. It is visually overwhelming. I went all out this time and paid the big bucks for a Premier Pit Row Suite ticket. Parking in the Porsche Boxster Coral and doing a parade lap on Saturday.

Last time I found myself walking the parking lots looking at the different Porsches out there. It was wild.

I'll be there all three days and will be volunteering to park cars Saturday morning from 7-10am.

Heading up Highway 1 on Thursday - attending Friday, Sat & Sunday - driving back down the 1 on Monday (I hate using 101 all the way - much more fun on the 1).
Should be a good weekend and it's hopefully going to be a bit cooler!
From what I've heard it is going to be much bigger than the last one at Laguna Seca.

We better hope it is cooler as I was out there a couple of weeks ago track testing the new Ford Shelby 350 Mustangs and it was unbearable out of the shade. Gonna need a lot of liquids if it is that hot there.

Looking at the weather forecast, it shows a high of 77 on Friday with a low of 57. On Saturday a high of 71 and low of 55. And on Sunday a high of 70 and low of 54. Sunny all three days. Sounds perfect. Today it was 91 there!

Rennsport

I'm going for all three days; I'll have my 914 on display in the 914 coral. I heard the box coral has over a 100 cars.

Driving up 101 to Cambria Wed, then Hwy 1 Thursday for Monterey. Staying in Marina at HoJo.

Weather is gonna be fantastic....:)
