Smog and CEL

a couple of years ago I took the Cayman to pass smog and since the front tires were not rotating on the dyno, something triggered a CEL ruining the smog check and I ended taking it to the dealer…

Now is time to do it again, ...but this time I have a Durametric cable however, I would like to ask first which function should I disable before I take the car to the smog station and trigger a CEL in front of the technician.

Thank you in advance for your comments!

You shouldn't trigger a CEL from a dyno pull. The ABS light will come on, as the computer is confused at the rear wheels turning, but the fronts stationary. Nothing you can turn off with Durametric.

If your smog technician cant tell the difference between a CEL and the ABS light, ask for a supervisor.
