Is there a difference in shifter cables ??

One of mine has come loose at the transmission, so looking at used cables.....I have a 6S

Are they all the same 5S , 6S , 986 , etc...what are my options ??

Thanks

Dwight

I don't think they would sell you a broken part. Woody will most likely beat their price if he has one.

I actually asked Woody first

Doesn't think he has a good set right now

Then something from qualityporscheparts is probably your best bet. I have used them for some stuff and the parts have always been in nice shape.

There's a difference between a 5 and 6 speed cables. The shifter is the same though. I've never seen one come apart like yours has. I'm about to head to my shop and I'll see what I have. I'm pretty sure I have one. Text me at 512-925-9171 and I'll snap a pic.

"Woody will most likely beat their price if he has one." I will!

I knew you would, but I didn't want to steal your thunder

If Woody doesn't have a pair, I have a set from a low Mile 2001 S

I really appreciate everyone trying to help me with this.......Woody gave me a deal on a set
