watching this thing on the autobahn - they open the segment with a RUF equipped 911 being speed tested by a RUF mechanic to certify top speed - with two camera men also in the car - it hit 212!!!!! i think i was just as excited as the folks in the car!

took my back to 2nd grade when I get all excited after an episode of CHiPs or Dukes of Hazzard - quickly hop on my bmx and zoooooooom around the neighborhood.

german's - light year's ahead in engineering - autobahn is twice as thick as US freeways! And my god, if not the antithesis of California - one can actually get ticketed for malingering in the damn left lane!!!!

Yeah that was interesting. The Nazis used it to land planes on because very few Germans owned cars at the time.

I just finished watching it...God Bless the Germans.

ya know - arnold is a good friend's with jay leno - and leno loves his fast cars - wonder if we could get leno to pitch a statewide, 1-10 or -1-5 becomes autobahn day - the entire day dedicated to those of us with an itch to drive ike it's the end of the world!!!!!!!

I cant remember if it was this Boxster board some other forum but a fellow border swears Jay Leno pulled up next to him on the freeway(Los Angeles) in a Carrera GT to give him a thumbs up while he was driving his Boxster.
