Home again... 23 days, 22 states and almost 8,000 miles in the macan and it was certainly the correct choice. There were some top down days that would have been nice to have had the boxster, but there were also several 700 plus mile days that would have been torture in it. Those 18 way seats are awesome.
Quite a lot of the interstates were 75 and 80 MPH so I was able to run 85 and 90. Averaged 22.8 MPG and performed perfectly. Ever so stable on all kinds of roads, wet or dry.
Everything they say good about the Macan is true.
