New Audit TT
off topic
A car I nearly purchased not so long ago gets a face lift. Seems like BMW has started a trend away from rounder more fluid curves like on our 986 towards harder edges like on this TT, the CLS Merc, and the Cayman (look how similar the fog light area is). http://www.itv-motoring.com/images/c...gadtt01(1).jpg http://www.itv-motoring.com/images/c...gadtt02(1).jpg http://www.itv-motoring.com/images/c...gadtt03(1).jpg |
A nice looker for sure, but Audi seems to put engines in as an afterthought (excluding the S and RS models). From what I understand the TT will have 4 cylinder options or the standard 3.2 v6 which only does 250 hp. The rumored 2.0 Biturbo cranking out 350hp in an RS-trim model sounds exciting though.

Looks better than it did.
I like the new 3 series coupe from BMW. |
I don't really care for it. Looks like a CLK from behind, a G35 Coupe from the side, and every other Audi from the front....
|
I can't look at the TT and not see stolen Porsche cues everywhere.. The tailights, the shape of the roof...
|
Looks far more aggressive....I prefer it to the old model...especially the convertable which was far too feminine.
No thanks Ill keep my 986 S............ |
too small
if this car could be a bit bigger, it would look better. but then i think it would be in competition with the boxster. the small tight car is in a class of the mini...
n yes i get the mercedes image also. |
I'm glad Audi makes the TT, tho' I don't want one.
Not to hijack the TT thread, But... Have you seen the R8? http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060410/FREE/60403028&SearchID=73242735422917 |
