Probable Blown Motor

So after cleaning my MAF and air filter I went for a drive. Car was normal the first two miles until a loud mechanical noise, loss of power, and clicking noise coming from the engine. Got it home and pulled codes for 300, 301, and 305, most of which refer to misfires. I had it flat-bedded to my mechanic and got a call from them today saying the engine is probably a goner. They found a lot of metal including, I thought she said copper, in the motor oil. I have driven this car, a 2000 S, for 6 months and not a lot of miles and even fewer hard ones. It had a PPI and it was doing well except for the MAF related items. The rear main seal was replaced in 2009 when a new clutch was installed. Not sure what to do now......
