Is gemballa the best exhaust, is the any actual hp gain?

Is there any hp to go with that great sound? Some guy told me that his GHL sounds great but there was no hp gain!

I have the Gemballa stainless steel twin tip exhaust and according to gemballa it has a 10-13 hp gain. In my opinion the gemballa is the best one around, but I do know some people like the B&B and FVD mufflers too. (Keep in mind the Gemballa is an $1800 muffler versus the other two which are significantly less)

Thats sounds nice, but expensive! I guess you usually get what you pay for! I dont want to spend $1000-1500 on a nice noise maker and not see hp gains.

B&B exhaust

I had a B&B installed about two months ago on my '99. I really like it and it gave me a small boost in hp. Not a bad price at all, about $1100 with shipping and installation.

The Gemballa is the best I guess, but too expensive for me.

Now some people say the B&B doesn't have the right sound, but I think it sounds great. Throaty and not "tinny" like someone said. For the price I don't think you would be disappointed.

Thanks for the feedback mjbliemel and jfmiller, i saw a b&b in tweeks on sale for $700 so that sounds like a good deal, I'm glad you guys like your exhausts. I heard that about the B&B too, so i wasn't sure about it, but everyone has there tastes and opinions i guess. I think the GHL is a good compromise between the two however. so i might go with it.
