Please help identify this 2-post lift

I recently acquired this 2-post lift for my garage. From what I've been told, it may be from the 70's or 80's. If anyone can identify the manufacturer, I will appreciate it. Thanks.

I would google "hydraulice lift repair" in your area, and see if they can help you. I think it's going to be really a long shot for someone here to ID that from a few pics.

Very jealous though, would soooooo love a lift in my garage, but my ceilings are not high enough.

I'll be the first to ask, how much did that cost you?

I have a Mohawk 2 Post and the P-Car is on it right now.Bought the lift used,I repaired it,modified it,installed it and use it often.The lift pictured looks similar to my Mohawk. Smaller Mohawks like mine (they make ones intended for 40 ton trucks too !) are indeed chain lifted but the chain is enormous .They are just like the mast of a huge forklift. Awesome traditional Yankee engineering. Lifts my Dodge diesel truck effortlessly - fully loaded !
Need close-ups of the carriage and particularly the Torrington bearings that interface between the mast and the carriage to be sure.

Mohawks are one of the best in the business. Good old made in the USA. Because I have 9 foot ceilings, I had to go with a low rise MaxJax model….

Gets my vehicles up 48 inches. Just enough to sit on a stool and get to everything I need.



You will simply love having a lift. No more lying on your back on a cold concrete floor!

I do not have a lift but honestly I do enjoy laying on the floor (on large cardbox), admiring the German technology and also underneath my car is so peaceful...

PS; Also when the wife gets creative with the honey-do's it's a great excuse and when she sees you laying underneath the car she has to let it go..
