Most of the proper race tracks, i.e. Spa-Francorchamps, Silverstone, Monaco, Monza, Nurburgring Nordschleife built in The Old World run clockwise.
Interestingly enough, the first purpose built concrete race track in the world at
Brooklands in 1909 was Anti clockwise (counter clockwise to our American cousins).
