Wheel Bearings.

So I've done my rear right wheel bearing. I just ordered another one on eBay but there was another piece a mechanic said I had to get with it.

Is it a lock nut?

I can't find anything listed under that name on eBay.

Cheers!!

He could be referring to the axle nut. Manual recommends replacement.

He sais it's a driveshaft locknut?

Yes, it is the axle nut, which is on the end of the driveshaft, visible right in the center of your brake disc. It's a "one time use" item, so once you remove it, you have to replace it.

Here is an eBay auction for one. I think they may be cheaper than this at a dealer.

Proper torque....I broke a large breaker bar doing mine....also get good bearings as this is a job you do not want to do often......F.A.G. , Timken are probably the best bearings to use.
