So Cool to have Woody featured in a national publication. I have bought many parts from him. He has great prices and is a great guy

Made me real happy today. Woody swapped me for a new glass top and frame!

Ahh the beauty in tragedy, it's a good thing that their parts are always put to good use keeping the rest of our cars in top shape! Someone will stumble across this collection in 100 years and realized they walked into wonder land!

Thanks guys for the compliments. I think that article came out around 1200, and my phone has been busy since. When Kevin came over and told me what he had planned, I had no idea it would be this big. He asked if he could take some pics and I was like "Sure knock yourself out!" I really underestimated the exposer he would create.
I really enjoy what I do and the people I meet, but sometimes I do feel like the grim reaper. In my defense, only two of those boxster's were in great shape and could have easily been put back on the road (with a reconstructed title).

Excelent supplier

I have done business with Woody as have a lot of members and the man is always honest and very help full. If explains and describe a part it is always spot on. Keep up the good work.

Businesses like this keep good cars on the road and keep good people in said cars because they lower the cost of ownership and make swapping parts and maintenance much easier.

I haven't had to use Woody yet but I'm putting together a wish list for next spring...

1. Black top in good condition with glass...
2. Driver/Passenger fly swatters for the roll bar
3. Excellent Condition Savannah Beige seats.

etc...

I might just need to send a shipping container down to Texas come to think of it.

+1 for Woody!!

May those Boxsters rest in peace and thanks to them and Woody for helping keep the rest of us on the road and looking good.

Awesome! Although this will make my asks even harder now because the line will be longer.

Congrats for the exposure, Woody!

Thanks Woody

Ditto all the favorable comments about Woody and his operation. The best part about Woody's Parts LLC is that unlike other salvage yards that might have one or two Boxsters, Woody has so many that the likelihood of finding what you need for your Boxster is pretty good. Thanks Woody!

Thanks again guys. I buy other makes of vehicles too, but those quickly go to the crusher. I sent one boxster to the crusher when I first started and regret doing it. I quickly learned that there's so many little differences between the years and level of options, that it's best to hold on to them. You guys can ask for some odd ball stuff and I think that's where I have the advantage over most salvage yards. Other salvage yards might have one boxster at best and that boxster will have a time limit before they crush it. It will be a long time before I send one off to the crusher because I have the room to keep a lot of them. If fact, I'm clearing some more land to make room this week.

The original story got a lot more interest than I thought it would. It had 4000 shares! I can get why fans of Porsches would be interested in the story, but the level of interest has blown me away. It didn't generate much business. I'm actually happy about that because I couldn't keep up with demand before the story anyway. There really isn't a great supply of wrecked boxsters out there. The best benefit of the story for me was it validated what I do to my family and friends.

I had another story written about my operation. He basically copied the R&T article but threw in a few pics I sent him.
Inside look at Texas man's Porsche Boxster graveyard - San Antonio Express-News
The guy who wrote the original article said he was also contacted by someone in Germany asking if they could use his story.

I have a facebook page if you guys want to follow me there. It won't be any different than when I update my parts thread on here. The benefit you'll have is that you'll be updated when something new comes in. My FB page is all business and I don't over post with useless info. No post of kittens riding unicorns or any of that crap.

I saw a piece on CBS Sunday Morning about a junk yard in Georgia that charges admission with a higher cost ($25) for taking pictures. People travel from all over the world to go there. To be honest, I would like to get there some day. Just something for you to think about Woody, a little extra income can never hurt!

LOL. I think people might be asking for their money back if I did. Kevin did a great job making it look like I'm much bigger than I am. It's not very impressive in person.
