Major clutch creak?

I put a new clutch and slave in this winter. Been running great.

Today it's 101 and after spirited driving to the west end of the valley it has a loud creak all the way in & out. Everything was replaced. I can feel it in the pedal. Same sound car on or off. It's cable, arm, or pivot related. Thoughts on this?

Here's issue 2. The Pelican master kit came with a new, longer pivot post. I used that new part. Now the clutch engages very high and there's no slack at the top at all. Any push at all starts the creak. Zero slippage.

I'm already considering pulling the trans and swapping that pivot post but can't think of any other adjustment point.

Thoughts?
