Interface cable and diagnostic program for a laptop?

I have a 2007 boxster and I have decided I want to keep it for as long as possible and do what maintenance I can myself.

It is possible to purchase the diagnostic program for a laptop along with the interface cable that they use at the dealer?

You can get a durametric that does most of what the factory PWIS does

Do a search and you will get lots of info

As far a buying the factory system, the short answer is Not really
Again do a search for PWIS And PST

There are some Chinese knockoffs around. Most if not all aren't worth the cardboard shipping box they come in.YMMV

Durametric will handle most of your needs.
