Remove radio polarizing film
 

I think I saw some time ago a post about removing the polarizing film in the radio screen. I have had the screen apart a few times and can never remember what ultimately stops me from getting the film out.

Has anyone actually taken the film out? Is it possible without breaking the screen (or is the LCD a sealed unit)?
