Can I fit 4 carrera Lite 18" rims in my boxster for transport?

Any guesses?

width and offset??

Are tires mounted on the rims?

If it is just the wheels with no tires mounted my guess would be yes, 1 or maybe 2 in the front, I think the fronts might fit in the trunk side by side, and you could stack 2 or even maybe three in the passenger seat. You could probably carry more than 4 if needed. I don't have any unmounted rims to measure but I could give the measurements of a set of Cayman S wheels and you could test by trying to fit 4 cardboard boxes in your car.

With tires mounted, no way however. Maybe if you removed the passenger seat you might be able to stack 4 tires but unsure.

17s with tires mounted filled the trunk of a Grand Caravan mini-van, no way in a Boxster. You are able to get one in the passenger seat.

No problem if they ride shotgun. I put 4 wheels with tires mounted in my SLK. One in the trunk and 3 up front.

No tires you can probably carry 3.

Update: they fit!

I will have to push my car out of its parking space at work however, as reverse is not selectable with the wheels in the car. :0. Edit: rotate your head to see the picture properly.

One guy I knew put one rear tire in the front trunk, the two fronts in the passenger seat standing up on end and the other rear tire and wheel on the clamshell bungee corded to the roll bars (put a bath towel down first, of course).

I would have to rest the tire on the top of the top then, right? I have a 1.75hr 10mph commute ahead of me later, so I figured the Carrera lite ice cream sandwich in the passenger seat is probably best.

Holy cow you fit them, where is #4, in the frunk?

epapp 07-22-2015 08:06 PM

Yep!

Tapatalk requires 10 characters or more so I am writing this dumb sentence.
