Chicago service help?

I am looking for someone for an alignment in the western suburbs of Chicago. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have my car in for service and the dealer quoted me $480 to have an alignment done which I find to be a little high. Not to mention the $220 they want to do a brake fluid flush and $125 for air bag maintenance.

The only reason I want an alignment done is the clear view is a little off as the car drives straight and doesn't pull.

I'm also looking for a reputable tire shop that will match Tire Racks prices?

Sammy call other dealers in the area and find out how much the alignment is....Most dealers do it for $150 in Socal....I dont see why it would be different out there...

What the heck is "air bag maintenance"? Do we have to do that??

Sammy, if you don't mind me asking, who quoted $480 for an alignment? I haven't had one yet, but that seems high.....the brake fluid bleed and fill sounds right tho....

Napleton Porsche of Westmont

Their service has been excellent and I have been treated extremely well!

I am also in the dark as to what air bag maintenance is? Is it something like a muffler bearing replacement? ;)

Thats where I have been going as well....Good people.....Is that the price they quoted you for both front and rear?

I'd check around on the alignment and see what others are paying...

TriGem2k says $150 out in California......I wouldn't think there would be that big of a difference between the 2 states, if anything Cali might be more expensive...

Don't know much about the airbag tho.....Maybe they need to be reinspected every so often to see if they are still working?

Whats anyone else paying for an alignment?

I paid $79.95 at a nearby Firestone shop. Lifetime alignment, Hunter equipment (same as my Porsche dealer) and they love when I bring in the car. I have the dealer I bought the car from do complex stuff or what I feel needs Porsche expertise. But this Firestone group shows me the "before and after" on the alignment and download the specs to ensure proper results. So far they have been fine.

Yes, that is the price for front and rear...

I've never paid more than $100 for an alignment so this was quite a shock.
