81° in Jackson. Glad I finally took the hardtop off. Perfect convertible temperature !

106 in the Central Valley... Perfect for a drive with the top down and burn your face :)

cfos 06-18-2015 03:43 PM

I know, right? After all that rain in May, too.

I couldn't resist :)

In all seriousness, we are flooded out here and it's still raining ever single day! Would be nice if we could send some of it your way.

We indeed NEED water over here :(

Left it up because it was like 50 this morning.

It's 110 in Hilton Head, leaving for vacation next week, honestly that doesn't sound enjoyable.

I've just decided to sweat my a*s off and rock the top down. Its akin to sitting in the sauna, so I just pack water to stay hydrated.

114 yesterday and its supposed to hit 115 yesterday. Our snow free winter is here and I'm prepared - hardtop, shorts and A/C are on.

Mark_T 06-19-2015 07:39 AM

Low 70's here, dropping into the 50's at night, which is about perfect for me. I don't know how you guys survive those 100+ temps. I turn into a raisin at about 85. But then again, people from the southern states probably wouldn't care for our -40 winter temps either.

Been to Winnipeg for work as we have a 1,400 employee location there and for me the winter there is brutal. I'll take 115 any day or -40. I guess it's all what your used to.

Crazy about the droughts in the West and yet we're about to float away here. Record rains, but it still gets up into the 90s the second the sun comes out. I've had to keep the top up due to the insane humidity. Just spent $490 to have the foam replaced in the blend door-box under the dash so the AC will work more efficiently (it was letting some heat in).
Turner Falls for example, where I've taken all my "serious" pics of my Boxsters, is evacuated because the 100+ year old park has been mostly washed away.

The flooding has also caused rock slides near there to shut down parts of I-35.
Normally we are screaming for water this time of year. Be careful what you wish for, eh? ;)
