What is a pair of 04 halogens worth? - They have burnt inner lenses.

A co-worker has a pair of halogens with burnt inner lenses on his 04. They would be good candidates for installing Nine8Six's projector headlights, but my co-worker isn't a DIY guy and he may be going in a different direction.

When I sold the amber lenses from my 2000 after my litronic upgrade, I got $250 and I think the clear lenses even with the the burnt inner lights would be worth more.

With good quality outer lenses (no yellowing or serious scratches/chips) and good seals (not rotted), $500 on the upper end. Bad lenses and rotted seals, $350-$400 (low end).

This is my buying model and I stick to it when buying headlights. This is also a good run-down of actual completed eBay sales. ;)

Most sets I buy end up in the average of about $425.
If they have good "clear" corner trims, add $50.

Charles, when you say good seals, are you talking about the seal between the light housing and the fender?

Yeah, on a lot of headlights it is a gooey gunky rubbery mess. I think there is some progress in another thread for sourcing the gasket material, or possibly even having new ones manufactured. I will be in line to get a set if/when they do as mine are gunky :)

Let me know if you want to let a set go for not too much. I'm looking for some that I can send to Particlewave in order to have the projector conversion done while still driving the car. In other words, I'm looking for a donor set.

Doh! Thanks for the spelling correction lol.

Mine were in decent shape and I painted them with some Rust-Oleum/Silver peel coat, same as PlastiDip. Hope it helps to keep them in better condition.
